Hello. My name is Treat and what a Treat I am. I came to The Rescue Crew after being found along with my momma and three siblings last October (we all had Halloween themed names like Spooky, Jack-o-Lantern and Mama Cauldron). My entire family found their forever homes long ago, but because I contracted some sort of rare bacteria which affected my eye, I had to be on a lengthy regimen of antibiotics to try to save it. Thankfully, my eye is all good and still with me. I’m so appreciative of the care The Rescue Crew took of me to ensure I got to keep my eye. It’s still a bit cloudy, and it’s probably gonna stay this way. That’s ok, I can still see and it doesn’t impact anything about how wonderful my life can be. I’m a sweet young girl with an even temper, particularly now that I’m not being forced to take nasty medications, but because of that I am a bit on the shyer side – it just takes me time to realize you’re wanting to give me love and attention rather than antibiotics shoving nasty medicine down my throat 🙂 Because of this, I really need a home with another friendly feline that will be my pal. I like playing with my feline friends and after a good play session you can find me snuggled up with a buddy for a nice cat nap. I’m really hoping someone will give me a chance and let me show you what a doll I truly am.
This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), up to date on vaccinations, internal parasite tested (negative), and microchipped.
