Hello there! My name is Yuri. I’m a beautiful black teddy bear of a cat, ready to find my forever home. I was rescued from an overcrowded environment, and have been learning how to be part of a loving family ever since. This new way of life is so exciting for me, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it!
I’m a quick learner and the most loving and grateful cat you could ever meet. I adore all kinds of toys, love diving into tunnels after things, climbing up cat trees, and sharpening my claws (so I’ll need plenty of scratchy things!). An affectionate cat like me thrives on close interactions and snuggling. When I want attention, I’ll squirm around in your lap until I eventually flop over to make upside-down sky biscuits—it’s my way of saying, “I love you!”
I spend my days balancing playtime, soaking up love on your lap, and snoozing in my cat cave. I might be a little shy as I adapt to a new environment, but I promise I’ll warm up quickly, especially in a calm home with low to moderate activity. I’ve never met a dog or been outside, but I do enjoy peeping out windows and the company of other cats.
I was fostered with my friend Nyx, and we play wonderfully together. We would make a great pair if you’re considering adopting two kitties! I do get a bit lonely if left alone for too long, so having another furry friend around really helps ease that feeling.
I would do best in a quiet home without young children, where I can have a furry friend and a family with the patience, understanding, and love to help me continue to grow. If you think you could be the right fit for me, I can’t wait to meet you and start our new life together!
This cat has been spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative), up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
