Meet Robbie – Your Future Lap-Warming, Purr-Machine Companion Robbie is a gentle, affectionate teddy bear of a cat who’s ready to leave his difficult past behind and find the loving home he deserves. Rescued from a hoarding situation with over 30 cats, Robbie has shown nothing but resilience and heart. Despite his rough beginnings, he’s blossomed into a sweet, snuggly boy who just wants to be close to his people—and his fellow felines. Once Robbie trusts you, you’ll have a shadow for life. He will follow you around the house with his soft bunny-like fur rubbing against your legs and purring the moment you reach for him. He happily melts into your lap on the couch and practically demands that you stay there for his fill of pets and cheek scratches. If it involves attention and affection, Robbie is so there for it. While he’s still getting used to being picked up, Robbie absolutely adores lap time. He’ll roll around in delight as you pet him, soaking up every ounce of love. He’s also a big fan of wand toys and Churu treats and loves chasing and playing with other cats—making him the perfect buddy for a playful resident kitty. Robbie is initially shy with strangers and prefers a calm, quiet environment where he can adjust at his own pace. A slow introduction in a single room will help him feel safe as he gets to know his new surroundings. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate companion who’s always the first to greet you in the morning and the last to leave your side. Step 2. Apply Online. Twin Cities Pet Rescue has been helping animals since 2009. TCPR vision is a humane country in which animals are treated with compassion and respect. They have a large network of foster homes that help them save pets that mainly come from impound and shelters with high kill rates. Their teams and board are comprised of volunteers dedicating their free time, energy and compassion to these animals. Make sure to specify my name under the question, “animals interested in”.
