Meet Sawyer, a handsome 2-year-old male cat with a heart full of curiosity and adventure! Sawyer is moderately active with a charmingly chatty personality that will keep you entertained. He loves to explore his surroundings and is always happy to shadow you from room to room, keeping a watchful eye on everything you’re up to.

Sawyer’s playful energy and rough-and-tumble style make him better suited for a home with adults or older teens. His first adoption didn’t work out due to his spirited nature being a bit too much for a young child, but he’s eager to find a family that matches his lively personality.

Sawyer thrives on staying active and engaged. His foster mom keeps him happily busy with catnip toys, chasing balls, and wand toys, ensuring he has plenty of fun and games each day. His protective side makes him a vigilant guardian of his territory, always on patrol, whether it’s against vacuum cleaners or squeaky noises.

Though Sawyer is okay being picked up, he can be held on his terms. It’s important to understand that he will communicate his boundaries and may bite if pushed too far, so a home with experienced cat owners who can respect his space would be ideal.

Sawyer does well with other cats and would thrive in a home with a feline playmate who can match his energy and keep him entertained. If you’re looking for a spirited companion with a zest for life and adventure, Sawyer is the perfect match!

Step 2. Apply Online. Twin Cities Pet Rescue has been helping animals since 2009. TCPR vision is a humane country in which animals are treated with compassion and respect.
