Hello Everyone! My name is Ezra G. Clover and you may need to seek me out here at the cafe. I am a pretty shy boy who will hide and watch over the world until I feel comfortable. I was born into a home with MANY other cats. The owner did not have us spay/neutered so we reproduced and lived in a “not-so-good” situation. The owner went into a nursing home and we were left homeless. The family was going to have us all euthanized. A wonderful lady quickly swooped in, trapped us, and started seeking placement. Over the next several weeks I was not showing my true colors but instead hissed and hid. But think about it, my only home was taken away, my only owner was gone, there were so many scary changes happening and I didnt know why! Many of us had access to the outdoors but not all of us went outside. I went to HTTR to be acclimated as a working outdoor cat but during that time I started to feel relaxed and trusting. The caregiver realized I would thrive indoors so my colony days were over! I still struggle with transitions so whether it’s being introduced to the cafe, a new home, or loading up for a vet appointment; I will be nervous. Once I begin to feel safe in my environment, learn routines, and have the trust of those around me, I will thrive. It took a while but in my foster home I was very silly! I use my paws a lot to get attention whether it’s for food or pets. This also means small children and I would not be a good match. Instead I would love a quiet home with routine. And don’t let me forget to mention I love cats, the more the merrier! I came from a big colony so I count on my feline buddies to keep me company and bring out the best me! If you are a patient person who seeks a silly boy sure to bring you laughs and provide cuddles to your current cat/s, I sure would like it if you came over and introduced yourself.

🐱Good w/ Cats: Yes please! I need kitty friends.
🐱Good w/ Dogs: I’d prefer a home without dogs.
🐱Good w/children: Not much experience but older (16+) or no children please
🐱Other: Keep an eye on my “leg pits” and butt for matting! I use my paws a lot! This means I may swipe at you but do not mean any harm. If I hunker back and try to get away, please let me. I am probably still trying to feel safe. I like when people read to me!

If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
