Florian has quite the story to tell. He came to us with another kitty (both were presumed female). Since he was first thought to be female, the name Queen Flora was given. You see, both cats were unsocialized and not easy to “check”. Assuming we were safe after a couple of months, we took them to be spayed. Lo and behold the other Kitty was now pregnant so she did not have surgery. (She and her baby were already adopted through the Cafe and now living a wonderful life!) That is when we found out that Flora was male and needed a new name. Florian was perfect!
He has taken a little bit longer to come out of his shell with humans but has since blossomed into the sweetest most loving boy. He has such a gentle disposition and the most adorable little mew. He is currently styling in his lion cut (shave) yet this handsome boy is long-haired. As we have found, he gets matts relatively easily and will need a home that is willing to brush him often.
Florian seems to be very easy going with other cats. He may benefit from having a feline fur buddy in his new home. He does thrive on human attention and could potentially be and only Kitty provided his human is home often. He may even do okay with an older well-mannered child. He may not be fond of a dog though.
Florian has been neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative) and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225+tax
