Maxine had been found outside of a volunteer’s home where a feeding station was set up for the less fortunate neighborhood animals. She had been a new visitor who was now showing up every day with extreme hunger. She was easily persuaded to come closer for a can of food and was brought inside while we searched for her previous home. Her fur was very dingy and full of matts. Sadly, no one stepped up to claim her, so she is now ready to begin her next chapter in life with a new human to smother her with love.
This beautiful young lady adores attention. She has shown only her gentle side and appreciates pets and cuddles. She has been very tolerant of other cats but may do well as an only Kitty in her new home provided her human is willing to spend lots of time entertaining and cuddling with her. She will also need someone who is willing to brush her regularly to keep her golden locs looking their best. She can be a tad chatty but it only adds to her wonderful charm. This little sweetheart may do okay with an older well-mannered child but may not be as excited to live with a dog.
