Sam I am! Hey there, my name is Sam. I was found with my siblings in the middle of January when those temps dipped to minus ten! We were all huddled under a deck trying to stay warm when a nice lady found us and decided we needed an indoor life. Don’t worry, they found our mom too and she’s living in a sanctuary now. I was an older kitten so it took me some time to trust everything. Fast movements, loud noises, and a busy lifestyle make me hide. I’d love to enjoy my day basking in the sun then playing every chance I get! I’ve been in a home with other cats and I LOVED it. I’ll need to go home with another kitten or young cat to keep me company and give me someone to play with. Older or no children would be great, but young kids and dogs have too much energy for me! I am pretty shy but once I feel safe I am very vocal, food motivated, and enjoy scratches! So load up the cupboards with yummy treats and let’s play!
Just to Review:
🐱Living Arrangements: Indoor only. No catio, walks, or stroller time!
🐱Great w/ Cats: I will need a feline buddy to feel confident and happy
🐱Not good w/ Dogs: No puppers for me!
🐱Good w/children: Older or no children please
🐱Other: I may hiss at first but please don’t take that personally, I still worry I need to protect myself.

An Eartip is a Badge of Honor
If I am in an adoption program, it means someone took the time to work with me after trapping. They showed me love, taught me to trust, and gave me the confidence to love back so much that I would live my best life indoors with a family.
If you see me in an outdoor home sporting an eartip, it means someone cared enough about me to get me vetted, neutered, vaccinated and make sure I have the best life in my outdoor colony.
