Winona – also known as Winnie – came to us from a nice lady who tried to keep Winnie safe. Unfortunately, there was an assertive dog in the house who had other plans for Winnie. The lady felt that it would be best for Winnie to get a better home where she did not need to live in fear when venturing out from the bedroom.
Surprisingly Winnie is okay with cat friendly dogs — just not the ones who want to chase or hurt her. Winnie is a very sweet and gentle kitty. She adores attention and loves to hang out with her human. She is okay with being held and loves to get lots of cuddles. She had lived with another cat in her previous home and has been doing well with introductions to new kitties in her foster home.
We feel that Winnie would do well in a home with another gentle cat or dog as well as with older children.
