Wendy and Sylvester were surrendered when they were forced to move out of their previous residence due to unhealthy living conditions. Unfortunately, the human could only take three of her six cats to the new living situation and needed to rehome Wendy and Sylvester. (Their big brother Louey has already been to the Café and found his own wonderful home.)
Wendy and Sylvester are sweet and affectionate cats. They are very shy in new environments and will need a very patient and gentle hand to help them settle in. Once you have earned their trust, they will seek out attention and love to get pets. Sylvester can even be a tad vocal at dinner time or when he wants attention. When we first took them in Sylvester needed extra TLC and discovered how nice lap time can be!
They are bonded siblings and will need to go to a home together where they can live out their lives. They will need a quiet home with no children or dogs. They are very gentle souled kitties who just need a furrever home to call their own.

Step 1. Visit me today! A meet-and-greet is required to start the adoption journey. Use this special space to connect and ensure you’re bringing home the right cat for your family. Repeat visits are always encouraged to build a stronger connection!
Step 2. Connect with the rescue. This cat is from No Kitten Left Behind-MN. They are a small, volunteer-run, foster-based rescue managed by one dedicated person. If you’re interested in adopting after meeting a cat, please email [email protected] to request an application. To help streamline communication, use the subject line: Application Request for [Cat’s Name] at TCM. In the email body, include when you met the cat and why you’d like to adopt them.
Step 3. Wait for an application to be sent back to your request. Please allow at least 72 hours for a response. If you don’t hear back after that, send a follow-up email in case the original was missed. Email is the best way to get in touch and begin the adoption process.
